Ingredients
Scale
- 10 pieces rice paper sheets (gluten-free)
- 250 g ground beef (can be substituted with chicken, turkey, or lentils)
- 1 onion (alternatively spring onions or shallots)
- 1 clove garlic (freshly recommended, can also use garlic powder)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (substitute with soy sauce for gluten-free option)
- 100 g cheese (Cheddar; can substitute with mozzarella or spicy Pepper Jack)
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until evenly browned. Add the diced onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is soft.
- Mix the cooked beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and a splash of white wine vinegar in a bowl. Adjust seasonings as desired.
- Prepare your water in a wide bowl and soak a rice paper sheet for a few seconds in the water until it becomes pliable.
- Place the soft rice paper on a clean surface. Add a small amount of the beef mixture in the center, followed by cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll carefully from the bottom up to create a tightly wrapped roll.
- Repeat the process until all fillings are used. Enjoy the rolls warm or refrigerate for later.
Notes
Make sure not to overfill the rolls to prevent tearing of the rice paper. You can store the rolls in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
